The  Philippine  Embassy  in  Mexico,  led  by  Ambassador Catalino R. Dilem, Jr.,  joined the Eucharistic Mass in celebration of  the  Migrants and Refugees Day on 06 September 2015 at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico.  The mass was officiated by the Archbishop of Mexico, Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera.

            The Migrants Day Eucharistic celebration is held every first Sunday of September in Mexico.  The whole Archdiocese of Mexico dedicates the Mass to honor and give grace to all the migrants and refugees in Mexico.

            The event is annually organized and coordinated by the Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerants (Comision de Pastoral de Migrantes y Movilidad Humana) of the Archdiocese of Mexico.  A Filipino nun, Sister Arlina Barra, who is the Director of the Commission, assisted in the Embassy´s ­participation.  END
