In celebration of Dr. Jose Rizal's 160th birth anniversary, we invite you all to a nostalgic documentary on our National Hero's time in Germany. How did Jose Rizal live in a time of barriers—of skin color, religion, political ideologies, and colonialism? Find out in the full length documentary film on Dr. Jose Rizal’s time in Europe, “Finding Rizal in a Time of Barriers.”

Join us for the launching program on 19 June 2021, 5:00 p.m. on the official Facebook page of the DFA as we anticipate the premiere broadcast on ABS-CBN News Channel at 7:00 p.m.

“Finding Rizal in a Time of Barriers” is a project of the Department of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Berlin and Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt, in partnership with the Office of Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda. The episode will have a replay on 20 June 2021, 4:00 p.m. also on ANC.
