Tourist and Business Visa (9A )

All tourist and business visa applications must be filed online through https://www.visa.gov.ph

Applicant must download and sign the generated barcoded online visa form and upload it into the system together with their passport data page and a latest photo with white background.

Visa applicants are strongly advised to finalize their flight booking only after the visa is granted. The Embassy will not hasten the visa processing to accommodate the applicant’s flight schedule.

Visa processing time is dependent on the applicant’s nationality and usually takes two (2) to ten (10) business days. Processing could be faster if the applicant’s country has an existing visa agreement with the Philippines. For some applicants, evaluation may take longer.

Please note that no refund of the visa application fee will be made if the visa application is denied or if the visa is approved after the applicant’s scheduled departure date. Further, the Visa Officer reserves the right to issue the appropriate validity of the visa based on the applicant’s supporting documents.

The maximum period of stay the Embassy may issue is 59 days. Those wishing to stay for a longer period may look at requirements from the Bureau of Immigration: http://immigration.gov.ph/visa-requirements/non-immigrant-visa/temporary-visitor-visa/extension-of-authorized-stay-beyond-59-days

Additional requirements to apply Tourist/Business visa to Philippines:

  1. Duly accomplished visa application form
  2. Two (2) passport size picture with background
  3. Passport (validity must not be less than six months)
  4. Itinerary of travel and copy of ticket to and from the Philippines
  5. Hotel booking in the Philippines or Invitation letter from the Philippines
  6. Proof of financial capacity (bank statement)
  7. Certificate of Employment indicating salary and length of service 
  8. Travel Insurance for Covid-19 treatment with at least 35,000.00USD coverage or for the duration of stay.

NOTE: ADDITIONAL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS MAY BE REQUIRED UPON THE DISCRETION OF THE VISA OFFICER.

Please note as well that we cannot accept payments for courier fees to send your copy back to your address; you will need to arrange for a courier service to pick up your passport and visa here at the Embassy. Alternatively, you can simply enclose a prepaid or registered return envelope with your documents.
