The Philippine Embassy in Mexico joins the Filipino nation in celebrating the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week from 13 to 19 November 2022, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 124 s. 2001.
This year's theme, "Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises" highlights the importance of combating disinformation on illegal drugs. It also serves as a call to action to mitigate the adverse effect of false information, increase the public's awareness and knowledge on the myths and inaccuracies surrounding illegal drugs, and intensify their resilience against the influence of drug use.
