Third Secretary and Vice Consul Marisa R. Winkler, together with Consular Assistant Mr. Ermie A. Tangan, Assistance-to-Nationals Officer Mr. Arnel R. Navarra, and Mr. Manuel Rodriguez, Embassy´s translator, met with the officials of the Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) in Mexico City to discuss various aspects of immigration processes and procedures affecting Filipinos in Mexico.

INM Officials who met with the Embassy representatives were Ms. Monica Ramon Alonso and Mr. Javier Eduardo Perez Jauregui, Head and Deputy Head of the INM- Representation Office in México City, respectively.

The Embassy representatives were provided with new information on the statistical data of Filipinos in México. Other topics discussed were on the Philippine Naming Convention and the services they are offering through their newly established microsite: https://inm.gob.mx./mpublic/publico/inm-tramites.html
