The Philippine Embassy in Mexico, in collaboration with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and Cineteca Nacional, will hold Cine Filipino, the first-ever Philippine Film Festival in Mexico in celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Mexico from 27 to 30 September 2023.
To kickstart the event, the Philippine Embassy is pleased to invite you to the special screening of the full-length film “Ma´Rosa” by the multi-awarded Filipino director Brillante Mendoza at Sala 7 of Cineteca Nacional on 27 September 2023 at 1900H.
The Philippine Embassy would also appreciate it if you can join us in the screening of the participating short films at Cineteca Nacional´s Open-Air Cinema on 29 (Hugo: A Hidden Past Revealed and Halawod) and 30 September 2023 (In Paglayag, Budjang and Maglabay Ra In Sakit) at 1930H.
