The Philippine Embassy in Mexico, in partnership with the University of the Philippines-Diliman, El Colegio de San Luis, and the Philippine-Mexico Studies Program, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) supported by the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, invites you to the tenth episode of “LA HISTORIA OLVIDADA: FILIPINAS-MEXICO 2024,” a virtual colloquium series on Philippine-Mexico relations, to be held via Zoom on 15 November 2024 at 6:00-7:30 P.M., Mexico City time (16 November 2024 at 8:00-9:30 A.M., Philippine time).
The resource speaker, Dra. Maria Cristina Esperanza Barron Soto, PhD in History, Universidad Iberoamericana, will talk on “Mexico and the Philippines: Two Hundred and Fifty Years of Shared History” in English.
