PH EMBASSY IN MEXICO STRENGTHENS TIES WITH THE MEXICAN AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION
Philippine Ambassador to Mexico, H.E. Lilybeth R. Deapera reaffirms the country's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Mexico through AMEXCID or Agencia Mexicana de Cooperación International para el Desarrollo (Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation) during her call on Executive Director Paulina Alejandra del Moral on 14 February 2025 at the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs.
Executive Director del Moral received the Philippine delegation with the optimism to continue the work on pending and existing cooperative agreements.
The initial meeting with Executive del Moral since taking over AMEXCID in October last year proved to be valuable as both women leaders shared the important role of international cooperation as a tool in bringing both countries closer. Ambassador Deapera, who formerly headed TCCP, hoped to engage AMEXCID in trilateral cooperation and in language learning for Filipino students.
AMEXCID was created on September 28, 2011 to address issues related to International Development Cooperation. END
