PH EMBASSY IN MEXICO SHARES PHILIPPINE CULTURE AT COLGATE-PALMOLIVE'S FIRST EVER CULTURAL IMMERSION DAY
The Philippines became one of the first countries to be featured in Colgate-Palmolive´s cultural immersion day held in its headquarters in Mexico City on 16 August 2024.
Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. Ralf G. Roldan delivered a brief but impactful presentation on Philippine culture in front of more than 20 personnel of the company. During the open forum, the participants eagerly inquired on our culture, gastronomy and tourist destinations. The Embassy then showcased a selection of traditional dances— cariñosa, asik, kappa malong-malong, pagapir, itik-itik, and tinikling—as well as iconic Filipino dishes and artisanal products.
The Cultural Immersion Day is a good opportunity not only to deepen appreciation of the rich traditions and vibrant culture of the Philippines, but also to establish a fruitful partnership between the Embassy and Colgate-Palmolive in years to come.
