Consular Outreach Mission: 18-19 September, Costa Rica
The Philippine Embassy in Mexico conducted a Consular Outreach Mission in San Jose, Costa Rica on 18-19 September 2021. The Philippine Embassy personnel headed by Consul General John G. Reyes together with Mr. Ferdinand Camacho, Jocelyn Nones and Marietta Lacsamana provided the consular and other services to the Filipino Community in the area.
The Embassy personnel served the Filipino community while they avail of the passport renewal, Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, Dual Citizenship, among others. There were also registration for the Overseas Absentee Voting and FilCom registration.
The Philippine Embassy in Mexico expresses its appreciation to the Filipino Community and its leaders in Costa Rica, together with the Philippine Honorary Consulate headed by Consul Pablo Enrique Guier Acosta for the orderly and successful Consular Outreach Mission.

In celebration of Dr. Jose Rizal’s 160th Birth Anniversary this year, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts launched the project RIZAL@160 TULARAWAN Digital Art Contest 2021 for Overseas Filipino Youth last 19 June 2021.
The contest is open to Overseas Filipinos ages 18 to 35, it aims to encourage contest participants to immerse in Dr. Jose Rizal’s poetry and allow them to transform his literature to original creative digital artworks. sFilipino Film "Kun Maupay Man it Panahon" to be shown in Guanajuato International Film Festival
The Philippine Embassy invites everyone to please watch and support Kun Maupay Man It Panahon Whether the weather is fine , directed by Carlo Francisco Manatad . Its a Filipino film participating in the 2021 Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) from 17-26 September 2021. This film won the Cinema e Gioventù Prize from the Concorso Cineasti del presente Junior Jury at the 74th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland last August.
