PH AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO PANAMANIAN PRESIDENT
Philippine Ambassador Lilybeth R. Deapera presented her credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen of the Republic of Panama in a ceremony held at the Palacios de Las Garzas on 25 January 2024.

National Arts Month 2024
The Philippine Embassy in Mexico joins the Filipino nation in celebrating the National Arts Month (NAM) this February.
With the theme “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain”, 2024 NAM seeks to encapsulate the notion that the bountiful harvest of a Filipino creative nation is drawn from the products of human imagination, not just of individuals but of people as a collective.
A creative nation or Bayang Malikhain embodies the idea of a Filipino society that places a high value on imagination, innovation, and artistic expression as integral components of our identity and progress. In a Bayang Malikhain, artistic endeavors are celebrated as essential contributions to the nation's development and cultural richness.
PH EMBASSY IN MÉXICO JOINS THE ASEAN FAMILY DAY
The Philippine Embassy in Mexico participated in the ASEAN family day held on 27 January 2024. The event was organized by the ASEAN Committee in Mexico City (ACMC) led by the current Chair, Ambassador Paisan Rupanichkij of the Embassy of Thailand.
With the goals of strengthening camaraderie and community spirit, over 150 members of the ASEAN diplomatic missions, which consisted of the Embassies of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam, and their dependents were gathered for a day of games, gastronomy, and music. Director General Fernando González-Saiffe of Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Asia Pacific, also graced the event with his family.
The Philippine Embassy showcased the Filipino palate by preparing chicken adobo, stir-fried vegetables and banana cue to share with the guests. A sack race game was also spearheaded by the Embassy, which was enjoyed by children and adults alike.The Administrative Officer of the Embassy, Ms. Christine Granada-Buhay, also enthralled the attendees with a karaoke performance.
