The Philippine Embassy in Mexico invites all Filipinos under its jurisdiction to the Bagong Pilipinas Town Hall Meeting and Women´s Month Celebration 2024 to be held on 24 March 2024 at 5:00 P.M., Mexico City time, via Zoom.
"Bagong Pilipinas" is an initiative of the current administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., that aims to inspire the nation to unite and strive towards elevating the Philippines to new heights.

SECOND EPISODE OF LA HISTORIA OLVIDADA: FILIPINAS-MÉXICO 2024
The Philippine Embassy in Mexico is pleased to invite everyone to the second episode of “LA HISTORIA OLVIDADA: FILIPINAS-MEXICO 2024” to be held via Zoom on 15 March 2024 at 6:30-8:00 P.M., Mexico City time (16 March 2024 at 8:30-10:00 A.M., Philippine time).
The resource speaker, Mr. Ian Christopher Alfonso, M.A., Supervising History Researcher, National Historical Commission of the Philippines, will talk on “Mexican Myths of Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines.” The presentation will be in English.
This virtual colloquium series which will also be streamed live via the Embassy´s YouTube channel aims to highlight pivotal events and contexts that have shaped the engagements between the Philippines and Mexico, spanning from the sixteenth century to the contemporary period.

PH CULTURAL PERFORMACE IN WESTHILL INSTITUTE- MEXICO CITY
In line with the Philippine Embassy's cultural and public diplomacy efforts, it presented a cultural performance as part of the celebration of the Lunar New Year at Westhill Institute in Mexico City on 09 February 2024.
Ms. Opalyn de la Cruz, the Embassy´s receptionist and choreographer, and Mr. Josh Espiritu Viernes, a volunteer from the Filipino community and English teacher at Westhill Institute, showcased three folk dances namely: Binasuan, Cariñosa and Itik-itik in front of the students, faculty members and parents of the Institute.
The Embassy continues to promote the Philippine culture in the Mexican consciousness to further strengthen our bilateral relations.
